Each team member has a Commission %: their default share of the Lender Commission on deals they work. When a deal is marked funded, NextLevel MCA uses it to create their Rep Commission. Admins, or anyone with the Manage Team permission, set it in Settings → Team → Members.

Set it

1

Open Settings → Team → Members

Each member’s current percentage shows on their row, for example 10% commission.
2

Edit the member

Open the member’s ⋯ menu and click Edit.
3

Change Commission %

Enter a number from 0 to 100 under Commission % on User Info. Decimals work too, for example 12.5.
4

Click Save

New team members start at 10%. The first admin of a workspace starts at 0%. You set it when you add a team member, and can change it at any time.

How it’s used

When someone marks a deal funded, the Finalize Funded Deal window records the Lender Commission from the Points (%) you enter (funded amount × points), and a PSF if you enter one. Then Rep Commissions are created:
  • The deal’s originator and closer each get their own Commission % of the Lender Commission, and of the PSF if there is one. If one person is both originator and closer, they get one share, not two. Managers can also get an override on top, see Manager overrides.
  • Admins can change the rows in the funding window for that deal only. Everyone else sees them read-only.
Example. A deal funds for 50,000at10points,sotheLenderCommissionis50,000 at 10 points, so the Lender Commission is 5,000. The originator is on 10% and the closer on 15%. With no splits entered, the originator’s Rep Commission is 500andthecloser′sis500 and the closer's is 750. No Rep Commission is created for a deal funded with no points and no PSF. See Rep Commissions for tracking and paying them, and Marking a deal funded for the funding window.

What changing it affects

  • A new percentage applies to deals funded after you change it.
  • Rep Commissions already created keep the percentage they were created with.
  • Someone on 0% gets no Rep Commission on a deal unless an admin adds them under Rep Commissions when funding.

Common problems

Check that they were the deal’s originator or closer when it was funded, that their Commission % isn’t 0, and that points or a PSF were entered when funding. If an admin removed them from Rep Commissions when funding, they get nothing on that deal.
Changing Commission % now doesn’t change Rep Commissions already created, and the Rep Commissions page only changes a commission’s status, not its amount. Contact support to correct the amount. See Getting help.
They don’t need to. Each person’s percentage is their share of the Lender Commission, and whatever isn’t split out stays with the brokerage.
