Bank statement analysis reads the bank statements on a deal and turns them into the numbers on the Underwrite tab: true revenue, balances, NSFs, days negative and existing MCA positions. This article covers how it’s set up. To use it, see Uploading statements and Reading the analysis.

NextLevel MCA sets it up for you

Unlike DataMerch and PACER, you don’t connect bank statement analysis yourself, and it isn’t on Settings → Integrations. NextLevel MCA provides it for every account. There’s nothing for you to enter.

When it isn’t set up

If bank statement analysis isn’t set up for your account yet:
  • the Analyze statements button doesn’t appear on the Underwrite tab, and
  • once a deal has bank statements, the tab says Bank statement analysis isn’t set up for your account yet.
You can still upload statements and send them to lenders. Contact NextLevel MCA at support@nextlevelmca.com to have it turned on.

Running an analysis

On the Underwrite tab:
  • Analyze statements sends the deal’s bank statements for analysis.
  • Analyze new sends only statements that haven’t been analysed yet.
  • Re-analyze all redoes every statement from scratch. Use it only when the result is wrong or the statements changed.
Depending on how your account is set up, new statements can also be analysed automatically, shortly after the last one is uploaded. Sending the same files again within 10 minutes is refused, because the result is still current. Only original statements are analysed: watermarked copies are skipped, and statements that can’t be read are left out of the totals.

Does it cost anything?

Bank statement analysis is currently included at no extra charge: nothing is taken from your CRM wallet. If that ever changes, NextLevel MCA will tell you well in advance.
