On a computer, inside the CRM
Browsers don’t let a page embedded in the CRM ask for permission to show alerts, so NextLevel MCA opens a small window of its own to do it.1
Open your notification settings
Go to Settings → Notifications, or click the NextLevel MCA bell in the CRM header and then Preferences.
2
Click Turn on
Under Pop-up alerts, click Turn on. A small window opens and the button shows Waiting….
3
Click Allow alerts in the small window
The window says Turn on desktop alerts: Get a pop-up on this computer when a lender replies, a merchant signs, or a deal funds, even when the CRM is closed. Click Allow alerts.
4
Confirm in the browser
Your browser asks whether to allow notifications from NextLevel MCA. Choose Allow.
5
Done
The window shows Desktop alerts are on and closes by itself. Back in the settings, Pop-up alerts reads On for this browser.
In the phone app or a normal browser tab
When NextLevel MCA is open on its own (the phone app, or app.nextlevelmca.com in its own tab), there’s no small window. Go to Settings → Notifications, click Turn on under Pop-up alerts, and allow notifications when your browser or phone asks.On iPhone and iPad, alerts only work in the NextLevel MCA app installed on your home screen (iOS 16.4 or later), not in Safari. Install it first: see Opening NextLevel MCA.
Which events pop up
Only the events with Push switched on in your preferences pop up. Most are on by default; Lender declined and Bank statement analysis finished are off. See Notification preferences.Turning alerts off
Click Turn off under Pop-up alerts on the device you want to stop. Other computers and phones keep getting alerts until you turn them off there too.Common problems
"Your browser blocked the setup window"
"Your browser blocked the setup window"
Your browser stopped the small window from opening. Allow pop-ups for the CRM site (usually an icon at the right of the address bar), then click Turn on again.
"Alerts are blocked"
"Alerts are blocked"
At some point you told the browser not to allow notifications from NextLevel MCA. Open the browser’s site settings for NextLevel MCA (the icon left of the address in the small window or in an app.nextlevelmca.com tab), set Notifications to Allow, then try again. In settings the same situation reads: This browser is blocking alerts from NextLevel MCA.
"Alerts aren't on yet"
"Alerts aren't on yet"
Something went wrong in the small window; it shows the reason. The window is only good for five minutes, so if it has been open a while, close it and click Turn on again.
"On iPhone and iPad, alerts only work in the app on your home screen"
"On iPhone and iPad, alerts only work in the app on your home screen"
You’re in Safari. Install the app to your home screen and turn alerts on from there.
"This browser can't show alerts"
"This browser can't show alerts"
The browser doesn’t support pop-up alerts. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer.

Send a test. If the test arrives in the bell but doesn’t pop up, check that your computer’s own notification settings (and any Do Not Disturb or Focus mode) allow notifications from your browser. Your browser needs to be running to receive alerts.
It says Turn on again after a browser update
It says Turn on again after a browser update
Inside the CRM, NextLevel MCA recognises the computer by its browser version, so a big browser update can make it show as off. Click Turn on again.
