How a tour runs
- The screen dims and one part is highlighted, with a short explanation. Use Next and Back to move through it; the counter shows where you are (for example 2 of 5).
- Done on the last step, or Don’t show again on any step, marks the tour as seen. It won’t run by itself again.
- Closing a tour early (the X, or Escape) doesn’t count. It comes back the next time you open that screen.
- Clicking the dimmed page does nothing, so a stray click won’t end it.
- Tours wait until the welcome window is closed, and only one runs at a time.
- A screen with nothing on it yet (no deals, no lenders) shows a one-step version pointing at how to add the first one. It doesn’t count as seen, so the full tour still runs once there’s data.
- When a screen changes a lot after an update, its tour may run once more to show what’s new.
Which screens have a tour
The deal window’s Conversation tab has no tour. There is no tour for the Dashboard or Reports.
Replaying a tour
1
Open the screen
Go to the page whose tour you want to see.
2
Open the ? menu
Click ? in the top bar of NextLevel MCA.
3
Choose Replay tour
It reads Replay tour: screen name. If it says No tour on this page, that screen doesn’t have one.
Turning tours off
Open the ? menu and choose Turn off page tours. New tours stop running by themselves for you; Replay tour still works. Choose Turn on page tours in the same menu to bring them back. The setting is yours alone and follows you to other computers.Common problems
A tour keeps coming back
A tour keeps coming back
It comes back until you click Done on the last step or Don’t show again. Closing it with the X doesn’t count.
A tour never started
A tour never started
Tours wait for the page’s data to load and for any open window to close. You also won’t get a tour for a screen your role can’t use, or if you turned tours off. Use ? → Replay tour to run it now.
A tour skipped a step
A tour skipped a step
Steps that point at something not on your screen (for example a button you don’t have permission for) are left out.
