Every notification shows in your bell. On your preferences you choose which events also send a pop-up alert (push) or an email. These settings are yours alone; changing them doesn’t affect anyone else. Everyone can open them, whatever their permissions.

Opening your preferences

  • In NextLevel MCA: Settings → Notifications (under Personal in the Settings menu).
  • From the bell in your CRM header: click the bell, then Preferences. The settings open inside the panel, with a back arrow to return to the list.
  • From the Notifications page: Preferences at the top.

Choosing events and channels

1

Find the event

Under What you hear about, events are grouped into Lenders, Merchants and Deals.
2

Flip the switches

Each event has a Push switch (a pop-up on the computers and phones where you turned alerts on) and an Email switch. Changes save as soon as you flip them.
You can’t turn an event off in the bell itself; the bell and the Notifications page always get everything. In the CRM bell panel the switches are compact: the first column is push, the second is email, and hovering an event shows what it means.

The events and their defaults

Push only reaches you on devices where pop-up alerts are on. The Pop-up alerts section at the top of the page turns them on for the computer or phone you’re using. See Desktop notifications.

Email notifications

Notification emails go to the email address on your NextLevel MCA user. They’re sent by NextLevel MCA itself, not from your connected mailbox, so they arrive even if you haven’t connected one. Each email has the notification’s title and details and an Open the deal button.

Who gets told about what

You’re never notified about something you did yourself.

Every deal (admins and managers)

Admins and managers see an extra section, Every deal, with the switch Notify me about every deal I can see. With it on, you also get notifications for deals you don’t originate or close:
  • Admins hear about every deal in the workspace.
  • Managers hear about the deals they can see, which is usually their team’s. See Record visibility.
Your push and email choices still apply to these extra notifications. Reps don’t have this switch.

Common problems

Push needs pop-up alerts turned on for the device you’re using. Check Pop-up alerts at the top of the page says On for this browser, then send a test.
Check the Email switch for that event, your spam folder, and that you’re the originator or closer on the deal. The email goes to the address on your NextLevel MCA user; ask your admin if it’s out of date.
The change didn’t save. Refresh the page and try the switch again.
You’re signed in with a NextLevel MCA staff account that isn’t a user in this workspace. Add yourself under Settings → Team to get notifications here.
