Merchants can now sign the application on the online form. Each signature carries e-sign proof (the time and the IP address), and that proof is printed on the application PDF that goes to lenders.
- Request a signature from a deal’s Request documents dialog: tick Signature and pick the owner. They sign in the merchant portal.
- Applications you enter for a merchant ask for their signature automatically when it’s missing.
- Auto-sign (off by default, admins only, Settings → Application Form → Form behavior): unsigned applications show the owner’s typed name. Use it only with the owner’s permission. With it off, unsigned applications say “Not signed”.
