# Connect from Claude

> Add NextLevel MCA to Claude and sign in with your work email.

Claude connects to NextLevel MCA as a custom connector. You need a NextLevel MCA user account (the email you sign in to the app with) and a Claude plan that supports custom connectors; on Team and Enterprise plans an admin may need to enable them first.

## Add the connector

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Claude settings → Connectors">
    In Claude on the web or desktop, open **Settings**, then **Connectors**, and choose **Add custom connector**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the server URL">
    Name it `NextLevel MCA` and set the URL to:

    ```text theme={null}
    https://mcp.nextlevelmca.com
    ```

    Leave the advanced fields empty. Claude sets itself up automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect and sign in with your work email">
    Click **Connect**. A NextLevel MCA sign-in page opens. Enter the email of your team member profile; the page asks for a code either way, whether or not the address is known.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the sign-in code">
    The email contains a 6-digit code that works once and expires in 10 minutes. Type it in; use **Resend code** if it does not arrive, or **Use a different email** to start over.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a workspace">
    If your email belongs to more than one workspace, choose the one this connection should work in. A connection is tied to exactly one; add the connector again for another.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve what Claude may do">
    The consent screen lists everything Claude will be able to do, each with a ticked checkbox. Untick anything this connection should not do (the write items, for example, if it should only answer questions and summarise), then **Approve**. Claude shows the connector as connected.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What the consent screen shows

* Who is asking (Claude) and the workspace you picked.
* The email you signed in with.
* Each permission in plain language, for example "Read deals, submissions and the pipeline" or "Submit deals to lenders and withdraw submissions".
* **Approve** and **Deny**. Deny sends you back to Claude with no access granted.

If you already approved Claude for the same workspace with the same permissions, the consent step is skipped when you reconnect.

## Use it

In a conversation, open the tools menu and make sure the NextLevel MCA connector is enabled, then ask in plain language; see [what you can ask](/developers/mcp/overview#what-you-can-ask). Claude asks before running anything that sends a message to a lender or a merchant.

If a tool answers with something like "This connection wasn't granted the submissions:write scope", that permission was unticked on the consent screen. Remove the connector, add it again, and leave it ticked when you approve.

## Revoke access

* In the app: **Settings → Developers → Connected apps** lists every connection for the workspace with the user, the assistant, what it may do and when it was last used. **Revoke** ends it immediately; Claude's next request fails until the user reconnects.
* In Claude: Settings → Connectors → remove the connector. This deletes Claude's copy of the access but does not by itself end the connection on our side; do both when offboarding someone.

Deactivating a user in the app also ends every connection they made.
