# Email from your own mailbox

  Every email the app sends now leaves from a mailbox your team connects under **Settings → Senders**: submissions, contract requests, offer pitches, document requests and portal links. Texts go through your CRM. Where you send something yourself, a **From** picker lets you choose the mailbox and remembers your choice.

  Set a **default** mailbox for automated emails when the deal's rep has no mailbox of their own. Merchant replies to a connected mailbox show up in the deal's **Conversation** tab (on by default per sender). If no mailbox is connected, the email options say so instead of failing quietly.
